The iPAD SP1 guides a rescuer through an emergency with clear spoken and visual instructions. It analyses the heart rhythm and, when a shock is advised, delivers it automatically after warning bystanders to stand clear.

Warranty and upkeep

The device carries a seven year warranty, extendable to ten years with manufacturer registration within three months of purchase. Manufacturer estimates indicate up to five years of battery standby life; electrode pads and battery must be replaced by their marked expiry dates or after use as directed. Keep the AED accessible and perform the recommended checks. For outdoor storage, we recommend the DefibSafe 2 locked outdoor AED cabinet.
