Do You Have An External Defibrillator CAbinet?
When you book a service with us for your defibrillator/AED, we also offer an additional service for the external cabinet that houses this device, provided that the cabinet is temperature-controlled*.
The temperature-controlled cabinets are designed to protect your device from extreme temperature fluctuations and weather conditions by adjusting the internal temperature accordingly, to ensure that the device is available for immediate use when required, thereby increasing the chances of survival during a cardiac emergency.
Our team of trained professionals is equipped to service both the defibrillator and the cabinet. This service includes a thorough inspection, testing of the cabinet and temperature check.
why do you need a defibrillator service?
Recent Studies Show
- 40% of defibrillators in public places are not properly maintained or serviced
- Failure to maintain defibrillators can have serious consequences, such as a defib failure during a cardiac emergency
- More than half of the defibrillators in public places haves expired pads or batteries, which can render them useless.
- Over 1000 instances of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) deaths have been associated with defibrillator malfunction
- Owning a defibrillator is not enough; maintaining & servicing it is equally important to ensure its proper functioning and effectivness
If defibrillation occurs within five minutes of cardiac arrest, the person has a survival chance of 50-70%. This decreases by 10% for every minute they are in cardiac arrest.
